AT&T has resolved the U-Verse service blackout that disturbed a few clients across the country. AT&T said the blackout of U-verse Internet and telephone service was because of a software application redesign issue, however it wasn't clear what number of clients in Chicago or the nation over were influenced. AT&T said the effect was just felt by a "limited" number of clients.

"Experts determined and resolved the issue and service was restored for all affected clients Tuesday evening," the organization said in an statement. "We know our clients rely on their U-verse service and we apologize for the service blockage." U-verse is At&t's broadband Internet and Internet Protocol phone service. The blackout did not seem to affect At&t wireless for cell telephone client.
