AT&T to Carry Samsung's Galaxy Alpha on September 26

AT&T - United States

There is good news for AT&T customers Samsung’s Galaxy Alpha is coming to AT&T very soon. AT&T’s past record shows that it likes getting exclusives but we have to wait as currently it is difficult to say if Galaxy Alpha is exclusive for AT&T or not.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Alpha

AT&T is the first carrier so far to carry Galaxy Alpha. The 4.7 inch Galaxy Alpha will cost you $199 on contract and $612.99 off contract. You can say that the phone is priced where other smart phones like Galaxy S5, LG G3 and HTC One M8, are priced.

The Galaxy Alpha features a 4.7 inch 1280 x 720 HD display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 12 MP cameras, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 1860mAh battery.

According to senior vice president – Devices, AT&T, Jeff Bradley, “We are excited to offer you yet another industry leading smartphone with the announcement of the Galaxy Alpha on the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network, covering more than 300 million Americans.” He further said, “The Samsung Galaxy Alpha marries sleek, premium design with all of the great features and Samsung technology that you have come to expect from a Galaxy product.” Samsung actually wants to compete with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The launch of Galaxy Alpha is also a part of this strategy. But it would be difficult to achieve the goal if the smart phone is only available on one carrier.
