Also known as the Lumia Icon in America, the Nokia Lumia 930 is a Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone. It is the first device to be released after Microdot bought Nokia’s mobile division. The device is widely regarded as the successor to the Lumia 925.

Nokia Lumia 930 is competing with the top Android phones currently available in the market including the HTC One M8, Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5.
 

The Nokia Lumia 930 is constructed in an appropriate manner and in such a way as to last for a long time. The metal design of its predecessor, Lumia 925 has been replaced by polycarbonate and metal frame. The eye catching hues of the Nokia Lumia 930 render a unique look to the device.
 

The 9.8 mm body is comparatively thicker than the Galaxy S 5. Edges are square and serve to give it a chunkier feel. The deice weighs 167grams and is not very comfortable to hold as compared to its contemporaries. The problem, however, is not with weight but the design of the device.
 

Nokia Lumia 930 features a conventional port and button layout. The jack for headphone is located at the top whereas the USB charging port resides at the bottom. The on/off button, volume rocker and the camera button are located to the right. The slot for nano SIM card is also located at the top. The tray can be opened with the help of a fingernail.
 

Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5 inch Full HD AMOLED display with 441 ppi density. The device offers a comprehensive display setting which allows user to adjust the color profile of the screen. Tint, temperatures, brightness and saturation can also be adjusted easily. When the battery saver mode is on, users can reduce the brightness of the screen too.
 

Unlike most of its contemporaries, Nokia Lumia does not have an expandable memory.
 

The Nokia Lumia 930 runs on a 2.2 GHZ quad-core snapdragon 800. It has a 2 GB RAM. The Windows Phone is designed to run in an easy and smooth manner. The 2420 mAh battery ensure at least a 24 – hours running time even when used intensively.  The device also includes a wireless charger.

Nokia Lumia 930 is one of the best Windows Phones currently available in the market. The specifications of the device are simply amazing and render it comparable to any other device in the market. The free wireless charger is an added advantage.
