But now it looks like they are back in the tablet market. Of course we cannot ignore Samsung’s contribution in this regard. Samsung and Barnes & Noble launched Galaxy Tab 4 Nook on Wednesday. According to CEO B & N, Mike Huseby, Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is a reading focused android tab. According to the company Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is going to cost you $179.

Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, like other tabs available in the market, is good for reading, music and movies. It also retains some features from past Nook tablets. The newly released Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is a bit smaller and less powerful than the Nook we saw a couple of year back.

The new Galaxy Tab 4 Nook has 7 inch, 1280 x 800 display. According to Barnes & Nobles, the new Nook is very good for those readers who love reading for hours as it has a 10-hour battery. Three books, Freakonomics, The Wanderer and I am number four, are also coming with Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.

It has been a couple of years since Barnes & Nobles launched their last tablet Nook HD. But thanks to Samsung the company is trying to come back in the tablet market again.
