Xperia Z3: Sprint's first Sony Smartphone
Reuters has reported that Sprint is about to offer Sony’s Xperia Z3 very soon. According to the reports of The Wall Street Journal and Reuters, Sony and Softbank, the parent company of Sprint, are working together on this plan.
We know that so far Sony has not been successful in doing a good job of getting its Xperia into the U.S. But now the Japanese tech giant has the opportunity to do what it couldn’t do before. The resources of the news mentioned above have not said anything about the pricing. The launch of Sony’s Xperia Z3 is expected at IFA this month.
It is also important not to forget the recent changes that took place in Sprint, Marcelo Claure becoming new CEO. Sprint’s teaming up with Sony will also pave ways for further new releases. Both Sony and Sprint have been through some rough time.
So this particular move can be proved a turning point for both of the companies. Since 2008, Sony has been very successful with Xperia series. We can’t deny the company’s ability to deliver excellent products in the mobile phone industry. We are only available with handful of devices that can compete with Sony’s Xperia Z3. Xperia Z3 has a 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor. In order to extend battery life the phone is coming with special software.
