Tesco Mobiles Launches Online 4G Coverage Checker

Tesco Mobile

Tesco Mobile has announced 4G coverage checker that helps customers to check how good the mobile signals are in their local area and coverage in the places they go to most before subscribing to the Tesco service. The client experience tool, which using Spatialbuzz innovative technology also used by O2, can show maps for 4G, 3G, and 2G. Spatialbuzz CTO Andrew Blake said: "The signal coverage checker developed by Spatialbuzz has as of recently been demonstrated on the Telefónica O2 sites in both the UK and in Germany, and in handset applications. The customer can easily examine if the 4G phone they want to purchase will give satisfactory network coverage in the territory in which they aim to use it, and therefore keep away from exorbitant mistakes.

As we already discuss that Tesco Mobile uses O2 network and they have already launched 4G in London, Leeds and other areas in UK. By the end of 2013, there'll be coverage in Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh with more to follow in 2014.

Check what the coverage is like – in the zones you require it. See the 2G, 3G and 4G coverage in the meantime. Just enter a location or postcode, or double click at a focus point on the map to begin an inquiry search. Not only this but you can also check more than one postcode or town so why not check both work and home?
