Verizon to Carry HTC Hima
It looks like Verizon is all set to carry next flagship phone of HTC currently codenamed as “Hima.” The phone has the model number HTC6535LVW, according to an AnTuTu leaked benchmarks of the HTC One (codenamed Hima). The model number of the HTC One Remix is the HTC6500LVW, which also shows that this is the Verizon model. The last two alphabets of the model number hint at its possible release on Verizon’s network. VW means Verizon Wireless. If this is true, no doubt it would be great news for Verizon subscribers.
According to the test the phone features 5’’ 1920×1080 display, Snapdragon 810 processor with an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM. The phone also features a 13-MP rear camera and a 20.7 MP front camera. Previously, HTC One M8 featured 5MP and 4MP camera. Camera was the only real issue most of the people had with the HTC One M7 and HTC One M8.
HTC One M8 was a big success in 2014. But now it looks like HTC has found the formula of success. The new wireless device of the company, HTC One M9, is a huge upgrade. Currently it is difficult to say when HTC will make the announcement. But one thing is sure the announcement will be made very soon.
There were rumors that HTC would be skipping events like CES and MWC 2015 in order to make the announcement of HTC Hima. But now it looks like HTC can make the announcement earlier than we think. Hope we find more when CES 2015 kicks off next week.
